That's what it's about

As a match-making event, Investors Day offers selected, innovative startups from different industries in the startup and growth phases as well as high-profile investors the opportunity to meet.

Only startups and investors are present at Investors Day. Afterwards there is the opportunity to exchange ideas further and get to know each other in more depth. The target minimum amount per investment is CHF 50,000.00.

The startups are accompanied by coaches from the Innosuisse-Swiss Agency for Innovation Promotion and/or Startfeld and receive mandatory pitch training in the run-up to Investors Day.

The startups

ALPINA+SANA, co-founded by researchers from HSG and ETH, addresses an often overlooked healthcare challenge: malnutrition. 20-60% of hospitalized patients and over 50% of elderly individuals in retirement homes suffer from malnutrition, primarily due to insufficient food tracking and the low acceptance of current foods for special medical purposes (FSMP). Introducing a fully autonomous, AI-based food tracker and patient-centric FSMP, ALPINA+SANA aims to effectively detect and treat malnutrition, thereby reducing its social and economic impacts. Our mission is to restore one of life’s greatest pleasures: the enjoyment of food.

Ionic Wind Technologies develops solid-state airflow cooling solutions for data centers and electronics, reducing energy consumption while minimizing noise and maintenance. The company’s vision is establishing a new benchmark for efficient air-based cooling, enabling the development of more sustainable IT infrastructures globally.

Aiina Robotics develops intelligent, modular construction robots designed to automate dangerous and labor-intensive tasks like concrete restoration. Our technology combines advanced sensors with AI-driven safety features, enabling precise and safe collaboration with human workers on construction sites. We boost productivity while making construction safer and more sustainable. Aiina Robotics is at the forefront of transforming the construction industry through flexible, innovative robotic solutions.rtup, founded by two graduates from ETH Zürich and a physician, primarily focuses on the outpatient sector. Its software is already being used in several general practices and by specialists.

QuantActions is a neuroscience startup and spinoff from the University of Zurich. Through its SDK, QuantActions offers passively-generated indicators to health apps, enabling them to provide personalised content and care to their users. QuantActions has recently signed its first customer and has just finished a first closing of a new funding round.

Excessive documentation burdens on doctors nowadays lead to decreased job satisfaction and burnout, impacting patient care. Intonate enables data protection-compliant recording of consultations between doctors and their patients. From the relevant information provided in the recording, the technology, based on artificial intelligence, automatically generates a suggestion for structured medical reports within seconds. The startup, founded by two graduates from ETH Zürich and a physician, primarily focuses on the outpatient sector. Its software is already being used in several general practices and by specialists.

Genereso empowers metal supply chain transparency with near real-time geospatial data and analytics. They are the «Google Maps» of the metal supply chain, offering a one-stop geospatial data integrator. Their solution is proven and market-ready.

OpenReg is an innovative, AI-powered platform designed to streamline the regulatory recipe assessment for food and health supplements manufacturers. By unlocking real-time ingredient data globally, OpenReg is driving recipe innovation and regulatory success for manufacturers.

a-metal makes metal 3d printing accessible to the broader industry. Thanks to their affordable, compact and safe machine solution, they enable in-house metal 3d printing for industry smes. After already securing 10 pre-paying customers and delivering first pilot machines, they are now raising investment for further development towards series production.
