We are delighted that the Switzerland Innovation Park Ost , or rather our startup support program Startfeld, has been awarded the Financial Times Award and is thus officially one of “Europe’s Leading Start-Up Hubs 2024”. With 84th place we are among the top 100 and in Switzerland we even made it onto the podium with 3rd place! This award not only underlines the work that is done every day, but also sends a clear signal that Eastern Switzerland is at the forefront of the European startup landscape.
The presentation of the “Europe’s Leading Start-Up Hubs 2024” award recognizes, on the one hand, the outstanding quality and enormous potential of the startups supported by Startfeld. On the other hand, it also underlines the supportive environment that supports them. From first-class infrastructure to access to capital and a network of mentors and experts, Startfeld offers everything young companies need to grow and establish themselves in the market.
We want to build on this success in the future and continue to promote and develop startup funding in Eastern Switzerland. That’s why we’re setting up the “HSG START Accelerator” in cooperation with the University of St.Gallen and START Global. The accelerator will be designed to expand Startfeld’s existing spectrum by specifically addressing the needs of startups in their growth phase. With its international orientation, the accelerator also aims to enhance the startup landscape in the canton of St.Gallen and beyond.
