Switzerland Innovation Parks and Microsoft have announced a collaboration to accelerate the development and adoption of AI-powered solutions in Switzerland. The aim of the collaboration is to empower startups and SMEs by integrating cutting-edge AI technologies directly into leading innovation environments in the country.
This initiative is implemented locally by the six Switzerland Innovation Parks, which together form the national “Switzerland Innovation” network at a total of 16 locations throughout Switzerland. The parks offer infrastructure, regional expertise and direct access to applied research – they act as a bridge between science and market application. Microsoft will support startups through the “Microsoft for Startups” program by providing access to its technology platform and cloud credits and connecting entrepreneurs with mentors and the startup community.
“The Switzerland Innovation Parks offer an ideal environment in which research-based innovations can be translated into concrete applications and products,” said Thomas Gfeller, CEO of the Switzerland Innovation Foundation. ” This collaboration with Microsoft will help translate digital developments into growth opportunities for SMEs and start-ups across the country.”
“We are delighted to be working with the Switzerland Innovation Parks to strengthen AI innovation where it matters most, close to research,” said Moritz Oberli, General Manager Public Sector, Microsoft Switzerland. “Together, we want to support Swiss innovators to lead the next wave of AI transformation.”
