Only startups and investors are present at Investors Day. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to exchange ideas and get to know each other better.

The startups are accompanied by coaches from the Innosuisse-Swiss Agency for Innovation Promotion and/or Startfeld and receive mandatory pitch training in the run-up to Investors Day.

The startups
Amela Biosciences develops designed, animal-free protein bioinks for reproducible in vitro biology. Researchers in cell-based research can replace extracted biological matrices with fully defined protein systems with predictable behavior and controllable biological function. By separating biological signals from material properties, bioinks can be selected based on defined, application-relevant parameters instead of adapting experiments to available materials. The platform enables reproducible results across experiments, labs and production batches and integrates into existing workflows as a scalable solution.
MOOST is a SaaS platform for energy suppliers that uses AI to translate existing household energy data into personalized, action-guiding recommendations and automatic optimizations. The solution can be integrated directly into utilities' existing apps and customer portals - without additional hardware or a new end customer app. MOOST thus addresses a structural problem of around CHF 26 billion a year by shifting electricity consumption to times when there is sufficient (renewable) energy. MOOST already serves 15 energy suppliers, has strong multiplication partners such as Solar Manager and EVUlution as customers, and is currently in large-scale test phases with E.ON and EDP, two of the largest energy suppliers in Europe.
