Startfeld is the startup support program of Switzerland Innovation Park Ost AG. We support entrepreneurs in the commercial implementation of their start-up ideas from the foundation to the growth phase.

To strengthen the starting field team, we are looking for a

Startup Consultant (80 – 100 %)

Startup funding is our core business. From initial consulting to the growth phase, Startfeld offers effective support and financing for startups – with success. We have been recognized by the Financial Times as one of the Top 100 Leading Startup Hubs in Europe. As a startup consultant, you are close to the pulse of startups and create sustainable added value for high potentials in Eastern Switzerland. You are also the central point of contact for startups from Rapperswil and Buchs.

What are your tasks?

• Advice and support for start-ups in all phases of the funding process
• Development, networking and coordination of the Buchs and Rapperswil sites
• Supporting start-ups with the creation of business plans and pitch decks
• Analysis of financial plans of startup companies with regard to a financing round
• Organization and participation in startup promotion events
• Network maintenance in the startup ecosystem, especially Rapperswil and Buchs
• Collaboration in the ongoing improvement of the service, structures and processes of startup promotion as well as other team tasks

Who are you?

• a communicative and solution-oriented personality
• Already well networked in the Rapperswil and/or Buchs areas
• versatile, creative and willing to familiarize yourself with new (also technical) topics
• Responsible and reliable

What are you bringing with you?

• Degree in business administration (university or FH) or similar
• Several years of professional experience (at least 3-4 years)
• Understanding of financing issues and contractual bases
• Own startup experience and knowledge of the Swiss startup ecosystem an advantage
• Knowledge of common IT user programs
• In addition to German (mother tongue), good written and spoken English skills
