Two top-class experts will present the latest developments in digitalization and Industry 4.0, highlighting in particular the challenges of a high-wage location like Switzerland and explaining how a systematic approach can ensure the success of digitalization.

Prof. Dr. Christian Bodmer is head of the DigitalLab@OST at the OST – University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland. He sheds light on the potential of successful digitalization strategies and outlines future developments. His presentation explains the four success factors for the successful implementation of digitalization projects.

Adrian Rüedy, lecturer in Industry 4.0 and co-founder of SFN AG, will use specific examples from the manufacturing industry to illustrate the path to digital transformation. As co-author of the Smart Factory Navigator, he provides valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of modern production environments.

Prof. Dr. Christian Bodmer is Professor of B2B Marketing & Sales and Technology Management at OST – Ostschweizer Fachhochschule. He heads the DigitalLab@OST, an innovative living lab for “lean – digital – green”. His expertise lies in the areas of holistic digital transformation of industrial companies. With a team of more than 25 experts, the DigitalLab@OST supports industrial companies with practice-oriented digitalization projects in all areas of the company


Adrian Rüedy, SFN

Adrian Rüedy is a lecturer in Industry 4.0 at the University of Applied Sciences OST (Ostschweizer Fachhochschule), co-founder of SFN AG and co-author of the Smart Factory Navigator. Thanks to his many years of experience in special machine and plant construction, he has a deep understanding of the processes and challenges in manufacturing. By combining applied research and practical knowledge, he supports industrial companies in their digital transformation
