The event in brief
Lecture and discussion:
Movement plays a central role in our physical and mental well-being. In contrast, too much sitting can have negative effects on the body. Incorporating regular movement into everyday life, be it through sporting activities, short walks or even simple exercises in the office, can make a significant difference to health and wellbeing. The talk will look at why exercise is so important and give advice on how we can manage to sit less and move more.
