On September 8, 2026, the digital community of Switzerland will gather once again in St. Gallen. The Digital Conference Ostschweiz 2026 will bring together experts, entrepreneurs, decision-makers, and ICT professionals at the Einstein Congress. Tickets for the conference are now available.
Under the theme “Cybersecurity Meets AI – Risk or Opportunity?”, the event addresses one of the most pressing issues currently facing businesses and institutions. Artificial intelligence opens up new possibilities, but at the same time presents organizations with new challenges in the areas of security, data protection, and resilience.
Top-notch speakers
Among the first confirmed keynote speakers is philosopher and journalist Richard David Precht. He is one of the best-known intellectuals in the German-speaking world and has been exploring the impact of technological developments on society, work, and democracy for years.
Also taking the stage are security awareness expert Jill Wick, computer scientist and cryptography researcher Anna-Lena Horlemann, andformer SRF foreign correspondent Henriette Engbersen. The event will be hosted by journalist and presenter Bigna Silberschmidt.

In addition to the keynote speeches, the Digital Conference Ostschweiz will feature four breakout sessions focusing on current challenges and specific use cases. Topics include cybersecurity as a business enabler, AI and compliance, data-driven business models, and security risks associated with AI systems.
The event is aimed at entrepreneurs, executives, government officials, ICT specialists, and anyone else interested in the implications of digital transformation. Approximately 300 participants from the business, research, technology, and government sectors are expected to attend.
