The Switzerland Innovation Park Ost and the SBB offer commuters a co-working opportunity at the St. Gallen train station
Since August 14, eight open workplaces have been available to the public in the St.Gallen station hall. On an initiative of the SBB and the Switzerland Innovation Park Ost, commuters and travelers can use the time at the train station for productive work.
Working in the train station as a great need
In addition to shops for shopping and public WiFi, St.Gallen train station will have eight co-working options for the next three months. The tables are available to the public and offer workplaces including power supply. Michael Disch, Real Estate Management at SBB, emphasizes the advantages of the project: “Working at the station is a major customer need. With this joint initiative, we are turning St. Gallen train station into a productive workplace – and thus creating concrete added value for our customers.”
New level of collaboration
Flexible working options are being desired more and more – whether in the home office, on the road or in co-working. The Switzerland Innovation Park Ost goes one step further and on its campus in the west of the city combines the flexibility of the co-working spaces with an environment that is driven by the spirit of innovation and the opportunity for exchange and networking.
