After reviving Blancpain  – everyone remembers the now legendary slogan “There has not been a Blancpain quartz watch since 1735. And it will never exist” – he built the marketing of  Omega’s marketing with the development of new and very successful products and the recruitment of prominent brand ambassadors such as Cindy Crawford and James Bond 007. In 2004\, he took over Hublot \, which he transformed into an international success. His strategy: “Go where the potential customer is” has made Hublot\, notably\, the first luxury brand to enter in the world of soccer. In 2014\, he was appointed President of the LVMH Watches Division\, and also headed TAG Heuer and Zenith . In 2023\, he decided to launch his own brand with his son Pierre\, to pass on his experience\, and because “you never retire a passion”. \n\n				\n							\n					\n												\n															\n								\n													\n												About Marc Mächler\n					\n\n					Marc Mächler is head of the finance department of the canton of St.Gallen and has been a member of the St.Gallen government council since 2016. He previously held various positions at UBS.
