SUMMARY:Anxiety\, depression or dementia?
DESCRIPTION:Demenz geht uns alle an\nDemenz – die Diagnose ist für Betroffene wie Angehörige nicht selten ein Schock. Die schleichend verlaufende Krankheit des Gehirns hat viele Gesichter und tritt überwiegend bei älteren Menschen auf (> 60 Jahre). Nach und nach sterben immer mehr Gehirnzellen ab\, das Gehirn schrumpft. \nIn der Eventserie beleuchten wir die Thematik aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven\, suchen Möglichkeiten für einen positiven Umgang und sprechen mit Betroffenen. \nImpulsvortrag und Diskussion\nDemenzerkrankungen zeigen verschiedene Gesichter und können sich auch hinter psychischen Störungen oder Verhaltensauffälligkeiten der betroffenen Menschen verstecken. Dann kann die Klärung der Diagnose sogar zu Erleichterung führen. Dieser Vortrag nähert sich aus psychiatrischer Perspektive an das Thema an – alle Teilnehmenden sind eingeladen\, auch ihre Erfahrungen aktiv einzubringen. \nReferentin \n \nDr. med.
