SUMMARY:50th anniversary: “Innovation Day” at the Hagerbach Test Gallery
DESCRIPTION:In 85 percent of all sudden cardiac deaths\, ventricular fibrillation is the initial cause. A defibrillator can interrupt this electrical circulating excitation in the heart by simultaneously stimulating at least 70 percent of all heart muscle cells. A large number of cells are depolarized simultaneously\, which means that these cells are no longer excitable for a relatively long time (about 250 ms = refractory period of the cells). The circulating wave is essentially cut off and the heart is once again in a state in which the natural conduction system can take over the stimulation of the heart again. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n It is crucial that defibrillation is performed as early as possible\, since the lack of oxygen to the brain caused by ventricular fibrillation (cerebral ischemia) can lead to massive neurological deficits within a short period of time. For this reason\, more and more automated external defibrillators are being placed in public spaces. The successful use of an AED depends on the correct execution of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The AED is only a supplement\, not a replacement. However\, it should be noted that if one ventricular fibrillation occurs per minute\, the patient’s chance of survival decreases by 10%. Therefore\, the use of a lay defibrillator (AED) must and should take place as early as possible \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Date\n \n\n 5 November 2024 \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Time\n \n\n Two course times are offered: \n\n\n08.00 – 09.00 am \n\n\n09.30 – 10.30 am \n\n\nParticipation is only required at one of the two course times. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Location\n \n\n Innovation Park East \nLerchenfeldstrasse 3 \n9014 St.Gallen \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Cost\n \n\n \nThe cost of the event is CHF 10 per person. \nThe costs are collected in cash at the start of the course.\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Lecturer\n \n\n Marc BaudischParamedic \nGeneral information at: notfallmedizin-baudisch.ch \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n We very much hope to reach as many employees as possible with this offer. SUMMARY:Startfield & SICTIC Investors Day
DESCRIPTION:In 85 percent of all sudden cardiac deaths\, ventricular fibrillation is the initial cause. SUMMARY:Impulse event “Cultivating innovation”
SUMMARY:Swiss Innovation Forum
Therefore\, the use of a lay defibrillator (AED) must and should take place as early as possible \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Date\n \n\n 5 November 2024 \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Time\n \n\n Two course times are offered: \n\n\n08.00 – 09.00 am \n\n\n09.30 – 10.30 am \n\n\nParticipation is only required at one of the two course times. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Location\n \n\n Innovation Park East \nLerchenfeldstrasse 3 \n9014 St.Gallen \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Cost\n \n\n \nThe cost of the event is CHF 10 per person. \nThe costs are collected in cash at the start of the course.\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Lecturer\n \n\n Marc BaudischParamedic \nGeneral information at: notfallmedizin-baudisch.ch \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n We very much hope to reach as many employees as possible with this offer. SUMMARY:Startfield becomes part of the Switzerland Innovation Park East
