SUMMARY:Keynote speech: Artificial intelligence in the industry
DESCRIPTION:Practical examples and insights into how Bühler AG uses AI in its company.\nExperience an exciting keynote speech in which the leading industrial company Bühler AG reports on its experiences and successes in the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI). Let yourself be inspired and gain valuable practical insights into how to recognize and exploit the potential of AI in your company. \nRepresentatives from Bühler will outline Bühler’s AI journey and offer their insights and findings on how Bühler is strategically using AI for digital transformation and innovation. \nThe program at a glance\nCreating awareness for AI in the company \nAt Bühler AG\, the possibilities and potential of AI are clearly communicated in order to raise awareness of AI within the company. This includes the question of how data can be used effectively\, what data is required and how it can be obtained. Practical examples and the presentation of successful implementations illustrate the benefits of AI in work processes\, products and services. This not only creates understanding\, but also acceptance\, enthusiasm and\, above all\, benefits for AI throughout the entire company. \nThe path to implementing AI in the company \nCorinna Rutschi and Matthias Graeber shed light on the path Bühler AG took to implement AI\, the challenges they had to overcome and the approaches that were successfully implemented. They will show what added value the implementation of AI in work processes\, products and services offers. They will also visualize concrete examples and describe the company’s practical experience to illustrate how AI can be successfully integrated. \nBühler Exploration Lab (BEXL) \nThe BEXL is a cooperation between Bühler AG and ETH Zurich to accelerate innovation processes and minimize risks. Students and engineers work together to develop simple prototypes to test key functions of industrial processes. Marcello Fabbroni shows how innovation in industry is accelerated by practical applications and close cooperation with science and how you\, as a Bühler supplier\, can also be involved in this process. \n Date / Time \nTuesday\, September 03\, 2024 \n17:00 – 18:30 \n Place \nInnovation Park East \nLerchenfeldstrasse 3 \n9014 St.Gallen \n Speakers \n\n \nCorinna Rutschi is a Digital Project Manager at Bühler and focuses on data-related topics\, particularly in the areas of sustainability and artificial intelligence. She holds a doctorate in business informatics and her research focuses on organizations\, intelligent systems and interfaces. \n\n \nMarcello Fabbroni is Head of Innovation Services and Technology at Bühler AG. At the Innovation Campus CUBIC\, he promotes collaboration with customers\, suppliers\, start-ups and the academic world\, organizes events and creates a dynamic corporate culture in order to accelerate innovation processes and minimize innovation risks at an early stage. \n \nMatthias Graeber heads Bühler’s AI&Data Science Competence Center and promotes data-driven innovations with interdisciplinary teams and a strong partner network. One focus is on the use of data from networked machines\, systems and plants to enable value creation with more efficient use of natural resources. Another is to identify strategic AI potential for Bühler at an early stage and get it off the ground. Matthias is a physicist with an MS from SUNY Buffalo and a PhD from the University of Basel. \n Target group \nInnovative SME entrepreneurs (especially from the Eastern Switzerland region)\, CEOs\, managing directors of SMEs\, SME representatives\, opinion leaders and decision-makers from the business world and founders of start-ups with an interest in digitization topics. \nRegistration\n\nRegistration deadline is 30.08.2024
